We teach you “habit reversal training” (HRT), which consists of identifying triggers that lead to skin picking, hair pulling, and other body-focused repetitive behaviors. Welcome! I specialize in generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, health anxiety, skin picking, hair pulling, sleep difficulties, and parenting. I used to be a management consultant for a “Big 3” firm, so I also specialize in stress management for high performers. I do therapy in English & Spanish

Dr. Caitlin Stamatis, Ph.D.

Hi there! I specialize in anxiety disorders, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and sleep challenges. Along with my clinical work and academic research in these areas, I have led clinical research and product teams in various technology companies, both FAANG and smaller start-ups—so I have expertise in helping high performers manage stress and burnout.

Andrew Floersheimer
Hello and welcome. My approach to therapy is warm, authentic, and collaborative. I believe it is important for us to connect and build a collaborative relationship that meets you where you are at. Then, working together, we will aim to deepen your understanding of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors as well as the connections between them in order to help you feel better and get closer to living the life you want to live.
Education: I am currently a Psy.D. student in Clinical Psychology at Yeshiva University and hold a master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the same program. I have also obtained a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Amherst College.
Research Interests: My research interests include experiences of authenticity and shame as they relate to psychopathology and I am currently working on a project related to patient perceptions in therapy.

Moises Hernandez
Welcome, I specialize in the practice and development of treatments for anxiety and depression. My therapy approach is warm and empathetic. I use techniques from emotion regulation, cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment, and dialectical-behavioral therapies. You may opt to work with me in-person or via telehealth. I also provide therapy in English and Spanish.
Education: I am currently a Ph.D. student in Clinical Psychology at Columbia University. I hold a master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. John’s University.
Research interests: My research focuses on the development and testing of evidence-based treatments for anxiety and depression, with a bio-psycho-social lens. This is a holistic approach to treatment that seeks to address your physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Utilizing techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapies, I hope to create a collaborative environment where I can support clients in identifying and achieving their treatment goals. Daniel Morton
I particularly enjoy working with anxiety disorders, stress management, and relationships. My approach is collaborative and warm to foster a strong relationship. I aim to understand your experience, provide support, and join you in working towards your goals.
Education: I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University. Before my graduate studies, I served in the US Army for six years. I obtained a B.S. in Economics and Supply Chain Management with a minor in Psychology from Arizona State University.
Research interests: Exploring the relationship between resilience, emotional flexibility, and mental health issues, particularly within the military population. As a member of the Loss, Trauma, and Emotion Lab at Teachers College, I actively contribute to the development of evidence-based treatments for anxiety and depression among military veterans and service members.
Abigail (Abby) Szkutak
Hello, and congratulations on taking this first step! I specialize in working with individuals with repetitive or “sticky” thoughts and behaviors, which often occur in anxiety, depression, and OCD. My clinical approach is warm, collaborative, and values informed. Education: I am currently a Ph.D. student in Clinical Psychology at Columbia University and hold a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University. I also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross.
Research interests: My research focuses on levering techniques from neuroscience and physiology to better understand how psychosocial treatments work, with the ultimate goal of improving treatments for individuals with repetitive thoughts and behaviors. I am also interested in investigating ways to personalize treatment components to better match clients’ individual needs.
